Hi, I’m Marina— Your New BFF

If you’re here it’s because you want to connect a little more and I am sooo glad! I am a follower of Jesus! He has radically changed my life for the better. Next I am a wife, to my high school sweetheart, Luis. He truly is my better half. He inspires me + encourages me on the daily. He owns the most yummiest food truck + catering company called Taco Tummy. My dream wedding would be to photograph the wedding + him cater the food because I know it would be delicious. My new role is a mother and it’s changed me in so many ways. I have two sweet very energetic boys (Luis + Theodore) that allow me see the world differently through their eyes. Life is so much sweeter with them in it and I am forever grateful God allowed me to be their mama.

My inspiration sparked with my father. He was a lover of photography. Growing up he started doing photography as a side business but being the best father he was he had to put a pause on his passion to give us the best life during some hard times. Forever grateful for him. Once I picked up my first camera, it was over. I fell in love with photography. I took a class in high school + it ignited my passion even more. Then I started photographing friends + families. I once had a previous boss tell me no one could really make a living being a photographer. I almost believed him. But my husband continued to motivate me to work hard with working full time + building my clientele on the side. Fast forward 8 years… your girl is living her dreams and now a full time photographer.
